In this popular table type we have used a combination of Hand-Hewn Sleeper Middles for the table top and using Hand-Hewn Roof Rafter Polls for the base. In this case the base has been made of two crossed roof rafters creating stability and also an interesting appearance. This gave the legs amazing color for wood with great variance due to the Hand-Hewn edge. The design is based similar to a picnic table but chairs could be used for this instead of benches (unless benches are preferred in which case we can make some to fit well with this style). The pictures seen here do not give any indication of the table's beauty. The top of the table is 3 inches thick and capable of supporting a huge amount of weight. Furthermore a marine varnish was put of top (same varnish used on marine equipment) making it even stronger and water-proof, even so far as it could be used as outdoor furniture if desired.
